HELL-O JELLY or month 2 of MATS Bootcamp

Susanne Kasielke

I can't believe another creative month of "Make Art That Sells Assignment Bootcamp" by Lilla Rogers is over. March's assignment was to create vintage jello mols-inspired designs for the bolt fabric market. How fun, right?

400+ artists worked on the same topic, but each single artist had a different approach and a unique style. Again this month I was incredibly inspired by everyone's work and I'm blown away by the results.

Make sure you'll check out the bootcamp gallery to see for yourself! (click here to get there!)

My entry is on page 1 somewhere in the middle.

I started the JELL-O project with a lot of doodling and sketching. Of course I used my favorite tool: the pencil. Pretty early I knew that my final pattern will consist of very loose and not very detailed (almost a little abstract) illustrations.
Below some of my JELL-O studies:

My 'HELL-O JELLY' pattern is available for sale on prints, pillows, cards, laptop skins, tote bags, shower curtains, cell phone cover.
